My time at Steven Adam’s Basketball Camp

On Saturday 24 August, I got to go to the Steven Adam’s Camp. I felt like I was an NBA player because we got to do NBA training and learn new skills. My favourite part was talking with Steven about basketball, he is so tall and was trying to bring lots of fun to everyone there. It was awesome and I want to thank Freda for choosing me and Tomo for allowing me to go. 

Practising Basketball Skills

Today I want to acknowledge Brody's choice to work on his basketball skills when he needed to push through some frustrations and focus on the positive.

I videoed him doing amazing skills in basketball and then we watched them back. Brody reflected on his speed/jumping/height/throws. I can see Brody loves basketball and it really helped him to turn a corner with his mood today. Afterwards, he was able to continue on with his learning in Room 5 after that.
